FS#50425 — Improvement node stability

Attached to Project— Kubernetes
Amélioration
Backend / Core
CLOSED
100%
For improving nodes' stability and resilience, we are going to apply that on Monday 17 May 2021

We have split the cgroups in 3, to isolate processes:
-> System: native binaries installed on the Ubuntu distribution (journald, logrotate, ssh, kernel)

-> Podruntime: kubernetes core components (Kubelet, Containerd, Docker, CSI)

-> Kubepods: all pods running from Kubernetes

OVH have reserved memory and CPU to protect the critical processes, to ensure the node is always responding.

The Kubernetes guide will be updated, with an array of matrice reserved resources by flavor: https://docs.ovh.com/gb/en/kubernetes/exposed-apis-software-versions-reserved-resources/#reserved-resources_1
